Lil' Dribblers Camp

The LJAL Lil’ Dribblers program is a partnership with our high schools and is designed to teach and develop individual fundamentals for 1st & 2nd Grade players interested in learning about basketball.
Lil’ Dribblers incorporates a kids-teaching-kids approach.  Under the leadership of high school coaches, high school players lead the kids thru drills that focus on basic ball handling, dribbling, passing and shooting techniques.  Camp staff members also emphasize life-building values like teamwork, character, and leadership.
The camp is held twice a year in the fall & spring based on availability, and consists of three one and a half hour sessions, spread over a three week period.  Free play is extremely limited, and is often used to enhance learned camp activities.  There is no skill required and all players receive a T-shirt and Basketball upon completion.
